Police in Hyderabad registered a sedition case against nine people including Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, Communist Party of India (Marxist) leader Sitaram Yechury, Communist Party of India leader D. Raja and two Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) students Kanhaiya Kumar and Umar Khalid, who found themselves at the centre of a row over some alleged anti-India comments.

यही लोग  हैं जो  सरेआम जेहादियों के साथ खड़े होकर देश और समाज ,संस्कृति और भारत की संप्रभुता को अपमानित प्रताड़ित करते हैं। मार्क्सवाद के  बौद्धिक गुलाम तो शुरू से  ही ये  काम कर रहें हैं। अब कांग्रेस भी चमन  लूटने और कलंकित करने वालों की जमात में आ बैठी है। कांग्रेस ने विघटन के  जो बीज गत दशकों में बोये थे ,वृक्ष बन फल देने लगें हैं। उसी वृक्ष का एक कड़वा  फल है केजरबवाल। तमाम ऐसी सोच वालों और इनके साथ खड़े दिखलाई दिए पुरस्कार लौटंकों के नाम चंद लाइनें :

डिग्री डिलीट के लौटैया ,अभिव्यक्ति के बीन बजैया ,

पुरूस्कार  के चरण चटइया,कुंवर कन्हैया पूछ रहे तुम कहाँ गए ?

चैनलियों संग ता -ता -थइयां ,रात दिनों की ज़ुबाँ  लड़इया ,

लिट -फेस्टों के ,करम -कलैया ,कलम घिसैया पूछ रहे तुम कहाँ गए ?

JNU row: sedition case filed against 9 people including Rahul Gandhi, Sitaram Yechury


Complainant Janardhan Goud says the leaders despite being aware of a sedition case against JNUSU president Kanhaiya Kumar, went on to support him

Hyderabad: Police in Hyderabad registered a sedition case against nine people including Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, Communist Party of India (Marxist) leader Sitaram Yechury, Communist Party of India leader D. Raja and two Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) students Kanhaiya Kumar and Umar Khalid, who found themselves at the centre of a row over some alleged anti-India comments.
Police of the Cyberabad commissionerate, which is responsible for parts of Hyderabad, filed a first information report (FIR) on the directions of a local court. The court was acting on a petition filed by a local advocate.
Congress leaders Ajay Maken, Anand Sharma, Janata Dal (United) leader K.C. Tyagi were also named in the complaint.
Officials of Saroornagar police station registered a case under Section 124 and Section 124A of the Indian Penal Code, deputy commissioner of police of L.B. Nagar Tafseer Iqubal said. “It’s a court refer case,” Iqbal said. “It’s quite a normal thing. We get these cases regularly.”
“The said offence took place in Delhi. Kanhaiya Kumar did not come to Saroornagar. We are following the court’s directions. We will conduct an investigation and file a report to the court,” said Iqbal.
The case was filed after S. Janardhan Goud, an advocate, filed the petition in the local court seeking registration of criminal case against the nine persons since their statements against the state in support of JNU students amounted to sedition.

It is submitted that on 13.02.2016 Saturday accused No. 3 to 9 Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, Left leaders Sitaram Yechury and D. Raja, Congress leader Ajay Maken and Anand Sharma, and Janata Dal (United) leader K.C. Tyagi visited the Jawaharlal Nehru University to support and to give solidarity to the students who have participated in protests against the nation which was held on 9 February against the hanging of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru. They (culprits) have been booked on charges of sedition for encouraging separatism, celebrating of Afzal Guru cultural event by misusing the freedom of speech,” the complainant said in the petition. Mint has a copy of the petition.
“As such the above objectionable words, slogans, showing of placards etc are very offensive in nature and also belittling the nation’s supreme judicial authority i.e., Supreme Court of India and their acts are against the entire nation...,” the petition said.
